Again, I met a user on Wikipedia in German with only one kind of edits. The person added to various articles one item each to the list “Literatur”. Mostly it was a book with illustrations about a certain city or country, all from the same publisher.
It would be unfair to accuse the person immediately to be an agent of the publisher who wants to push its publications. It would be naive, on the other hand, to believe that the person is simply a fan of these books.
In Wikipedia, it should be about the edit, not the user. Many of the edits of this person have already been reverted, by me or other Wikipedians. Some remain, being in congruence to the guidelines of Wikipedia. It is not necessarily an editor’s behavior we are happy about, even if there are some new good edits.
